HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?

This is very difficult to calculate. Not everyone responds and/or processes the same way to trance and to the therapeutic applications. While for some individuals a couple of sessions are enough, we need to consider how deep rooted the trauma, issues, problems or behaviors are. Please consider at least 2 sessions to get you set up for a mid-term recovery process. How many years have you been dealing with your current situation? Do you really think one hour will be sufficient to resolve it all?

HOW LONG IS A SESSION?

My usual sessions are between 60-75 minutes. This includes the time you take to fill out your intake forms or the follow up notes. I strongly suggest that you download your forms and fill them out before you get to my clinic. This will save us at least 15 minutes. Download the forms: Click Here.

DO YOU WORK WITH CHILDREN?

Yes I do, children of any age, as long as they are able to communicate either in English or in Spanish.

WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?

Hypnosis is basically a state of consciousness. One might say it’s an altered state of consciousness if we base it on what’s called a “normal” waking state, the one we find ourselves when going about our daily routine.

Hypnosis could be defined and named in many ways, such as meditation, visualization, guided imagery, autogenic training, etc. Hypnosis is an excellent tool used to assist a subject to go into trance.

WILL THE SESSION BE SUCCESSFUL EVEN IF I CAN’T BE HYPNOTIZED?

As long as you come in willingly and knowing what you came in for…You will be in trance the moment you sit on my trance chair. Whether you notice it or not is not as important as to go in a trance light enough to resolve or access your situation and apply the different techniques I utilize.

The success of your session(s) depends on you and your willingness to take advantage of the assistance you receive from me. I don’t have a magic wand, nor do I do your work for you. I am able to guide, assist and suggest what I perceive is your best strategy for improvement and success, although the same as a prescription applies. If you got o the doctor, get your prescription and don’t care to take your prescribed dosage, resulting in not getting well, is it the doctor’s fault? You WILL leave the session with enough tools and resources for your improvement and success. You choose. Please do not bring children or partners to a session without letting them know beforehand what they are about to go in for.

I AM AFRAID OF HYPNOSIS

Not to worry, I will utilize any other techniques in my “tool chest” to assist you in reaching your goals. There’s a lot more than the classic Hypnosis to assist you.

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE HYPNOTIZED?

Very good and relaxing. Just the same as when you are about to go to sleep or better. Or maybe like nothing at all.

IS IT TRUE THAT WHEN YOU ARE UNDER HYPNOSIS YOU FALL ASLEEP, AND THAT THE HYPNOTIST CONTROLS YOUR WILL?

Absolutely NOT, although Braid derived the name from the Greek “sleep " and although one can work with sleeping people, it is necessary that the person's conscience consents to enter into trance, it is needed that the patient listens to the suggestions and the instructions of the hypnotist to achieve results. An unconscious or sleeping person doesn't respond.

IS HYPNOSIS DANGEROUS?

The only danger of hypnosis is that it is practiced by somebody that doesn't have experience and he/she doesn't thoroughly know the handling of the subconscious; the effects of language and many factors related with trance and therapy.

It is very easy to put a patient into trance. Anyone can read a book or two and learn how to hypnotize, but one thing is to hypnotize and another very different one is to know how to utilize the trance in benefit of the patient.

It is not necessary to enter a deep trance, with closed eyes and send the unconscious to the moon to be in trance. One can very easily be in trance with open eyes. Many of my clients are able to go by the process with the open eyes.

The power of suggestion is in what hypnotherapy is based and it is a very powerful tool where miracles and incredible things are achieved that transform people’s lives.

WHAT IS HYPNOSIS GOOD FOR?

Hypnosis is useful and very effective to solve a great variety of problems, as well as an excellent tool for personal and spiritual development, a great ally in improving health, sexual life, in medicine and dentistry for control of pain and healing. It can be used in such behavior problems as: Nail biting, anxiety, phobias, allergies, nervous tension, bed wetting, high blood pressure, nutritional habits. It is also excellent for sportsmen, musicians and speakers, for those who are devoted to sales and human relations. To overcome fears, to improve concentration and learning. In short the list it is long.

Through trance we help the patient to achieve contact and direct communication with their spiritual guides, their deceased loved ones, or with their Guardian Angel; an awesome way to receive much needed relief and resolution to pending matters to achieve spiritual peace of mind.
